National Trail Mix Day Celebration

Trail mix not only makes an ideal hiking snack food, but is a great afterschool snack to keep growing brains working strong for homework! Whether you call it Studentenfutter (student feed, Germany and Austria)Mieszanka Studencka (students’ snack, Poland), Bwyd Dewey (beloved food, Wales), or GORP (Good Old Raisins & Peanuts) we all know it’s just darn good. I had the chance to hang out with J University today and celebrate by making our own trail mix! Here’s the nut-free recipe we used:
