Ebook and Audiobook Instructions in 4 Easy Steps:

Instructions for any device—such as a smartphone or tablet—
with Android, iOS, or Windows 10 operating systems (plus some Chromebooks)

STEP 1: Search For and Install Libby, by Overdrive from your Device’s
App Store
– Apple App Store
– Google Play
– Windows Store
– OR – visit libbyapp.com in your Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge Browser

STEP 2: Open the App and Follow the Prompts to Search for a Library
– Search for: Orange County Public Library.
– (If you already have an account with a different library, tap the Libby icon on the top right of the
screen and click Add a Library from the menu. Then search for Orange County Public Library.)

STEP 3: Follow the Prompts to Enter Library Account Details
– Both the Card number & PIN are the same. They are your patron number from the Orange County Public Library. Contact the Orange County Public Library if you don’t know your number.

STEP 4: Browse the Collection and Borrow a Title
– Search at the top if you know what title or author you are looking for
– OR choose Explore where you can search by subject or what’s new
– Preferences allows you to limit your search by format, language, availability and more
– Once you borrow an item, borrowed titles appear under Shelf (bottom right of screen)
– To browse for more books, click on Library (bottom left)
